42,325-acre Hiiu Shallow. Sector 02 Estonia coastal fishing map with an exact official national water-body boundary, EMODnet 2024 official Estonian E50M hydrographic DTM / traceable CDI assessed contours, source-assessed fishing spots, official regional fish evidence, seasonal forage guidance, public-access review and current-rule links. Official Estonian WFD named coastal assessment water in West Estonian Archipelago. This child is clipped to the exact source polygon and a trip-scale ownership window. Coverage classes and uncertainty limits are disclosed; this is a fishing-planning chart, not a navigation chart or catch forecast. The water tops out around 92 m. The depth chart comes from EMODnet, with national hydrographic source-reference audit bathymetric survey data, so the contours are survey-derived rather than computer-modeled. Here's the year, species by species, as the scoring engine sees it.
Veekogu joonistub 17 113 hektari suurusena, kallast 58.6 km. Nõgu on lihtne (kaldaindeks 1.3) — peaaegu kauss, seega sügavusjooned loevad rohkem kui kallas. Umbes 4% pinnast on madalam kui ~5 m — seal elab toiduahel. Otsast otsani mõõdab veekogu umbes 17.7 km, kõige laiemas kohas 16.4 km. Lähim kaardistatud veekogu on Pakri Bay - Sector 04, 11.3 km kirdesse.

Occurrence evidence does not promise a catch or establish that retention is legal. Current seasons, closures, protected species, gear rules and local restrictions always control. The roster may combine exact-water monitoring with habitat-filtered official regional evidence; it does not imply that every species is equally abundant throughout the mapped section.

Come spring, look for european perch tight to the bank in 1 to 3.5 m. They move out to 2.5 to 8.5 m in summer and finish the year down in 3.5 to 10 m. If you only fish one area, make it Weed flat: a weed flat around 1.5 m that scores prime in spring. Best bite is early morning. A drop-shot micro plastics or a small crankbait (perch pattern) is the honest summer answer here.

| Talv | 3.5 to 10 m | midday & dawn | Offshore hump (9.5 m) | Tungsten jig + maggots, Small balance jig |
Early season northern pike use the shallows, holding in 0.5 to 2.5 m. Summer is a 2.5 to 6 m game here, winter a 1.5 to 4.5 m one. The chart's best answer is Weed flat — weed flat, 1.5 m, prime for spring. Best bite is early morning and the evening. Tie on a bucktail or a weedless spoon over cabbage and you're in the game.

| Kevad | 0.5 to 2.5 m | midday & dawn | Weed flat (1.5 m) | #5 inline spinner, Spoon (red/white) |
| Suvi | 2.5 to 6 m | dawn & dusk | Weed flat (2 m) | Bucktail, Weedless spoon over cabbage |
| Sügis | 2 to 5.5 m | midday & dawn | Weed flat (2 m) | Big rubber (Bull Dawg style), Husky-style jerkbait |
| Talv | 1.5 to 4.5 m | midday | Weed flat (1.5 m) | Large jigging spoon |
Come spring, look for zander tight to the bank in 1 to 4.5 m. They move out to 4.5 to 11 m in summer and finish the year down in 6 to 12 m. If you only fish one area, make it Offshore hump: an offshore hump around 9.5 m that scores prime in summer. Best bite is the evening and early morning. A vertical softbait over humps or a deep crankbait is the honest summer answer here.
| Hooaeg | Sügavus | Parim aeg | Alusta siit | Landid |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Kevad | 1 to 4.5 m | dusk & dawn | Rock reef (1.5 m) | Softbait on jighead (10-12 cm), Shallow crankbait at dusk |

| Sügis | 3.5 to 12 m | dusk & night | Sharp break (6.5 m) | Big softbait (12-16 cm) slow-rolled, Jigging spoon |
| Talv | 6 to 12 m | dusk & dawn | Offshore hump (9.5 m) | Slow blade bait |
When the water first warms, atlantic herring slide up into 1.5 to 7.5 m. Summer is a 4.5 to 15 m game here, winter a 6 to 18 m one. Start at Sharp break. It's a drop-off holding about 15 m of water and rates good come summer. The feeding windows run early morning and the evening. Keep a herring feather rig or a small silver jig rigged through the warm months.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| Kevad | 1.5 to 7.5 m | dawn & dusk | Rock reef (1.5 m) | Small herring feather rig, Micro jig rig |

The spring pattern is a shallow one: european flounder in 1.5 to 7.5 m. Midsummer fish sit out in 2 to 11 m before dropping to 4.5 to 15 m for winter. The spot to know is Sharp break, a drop-off in about 6.5 m of water that rates prime for european flounder in fall. Plan around early morning and the evening in the warm months. Summer baits: a bottom jig with spinner blade gets it done.

Season dates, license requirements, and size and bag limits for Estonia waters are set by the Keskkonnaamet (Estonian Environmental Board coastal fishing rules) — and special regulations can apply to Hiiu Shallow - Sector 02 specifically, so confirm the current rules before you fish. Before every Estonian coastal trip, check the current Keskkonnaamet fishing-right requirements, protected-species rules, seasonal closures, river-mouth restrictions, minimum sizes, gear limits and any area-specific conservation measures. A mapped contour, fishing-spot marker, species roster or nearby harbour is planning context only. It never grants fishing or retention rights, shoreline entry, parking, launching access, permission to enter a port, or safe-navigation clearance; local signs, land ownership, weather, ice and vessel traffic still control.
