Common questions
How does the free trial work?
The 7-day trial is for first-time Pro members. You enter a card at checkout, but Stripe does not charge it until the trial ends unless you cancel first. Returning members are shown the charge-due-today terms before checkout.
How does the 30-day money-back guarantee work?
Email support@depthscout.com within 30 days of your first payment and we refund it in full. That is on top of an eligible trial, not instead of it.
What do I pay, and does my price ever go up?
Founding members who join by September 30 pay $29/year, locked for life. After September 30, Pro lists at $39/year.

Which states have stocking reports?
Colorado, Connecticut, Idaho, Massachusetts, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New York, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, and Nova Scotia, with more as agencies publish usable data. Stocking data and stocking emails are free; Pro is not required.
Are the regulations current?
We link to the responsible agency's official regulations instead of paraphrasing legal limits. Regulation links remain free, and coverage gaps are labeled instead of guessed.
What if my water is missing or looks wrong?
Inspect the water before you pay: every depth map is free to browse. Use the feedback button on a lake page or email support@depthscout.com and tell us what needs attention.
