In spring, european perch run shallow here, mostly 1 to 3.5 m. Summer pushes them deeper, 2.5 to 8.5 m, and winter fish settle into 3.5 to 10 m. Shallow bay flat is the standout, a weed flat at roughly 2 m, rated prime for spring european perch. Time it for early morning. You won't need more than a drop-shot micro plastics or a small crankbait (perch pattern) most summer days.

In spring, northern pike run shallow here, mostly 0.5 to 2.5 m. Midsummer fish sit out in 2.5 to 6 m before dropping to 1.5 to 4.5 m for winter. Spring northern pike concentrate at Shallow bay flat, a prime-rated weed flat around 2 m. Fish it in early morning and the evening and you'll meet the bite. You won't need more than a bucktail or a weedless spoon over cabbage most summer days.

Come spring, look for lake whitefish tight to the bank in 4.5 to 14 m. They move out to 12 to 27 m in summer and finish the year down in 7.5 to 21 m. If you only fish one area, make it Rock reef: a rock pile around 2 m that scores prime in fall. Best bite is early morning. A blade bait vertical or a small jigging spoon is the honest summer answer here.

The spring pattern is a shallow one: burbot in 7.5 to 21 m. Midsummer fish sit out in 15 to 37 m before dropping to 4.5 to 18 m for winter. The spot to know is Rock reef, a rock pile in about 2 m of water that rates prime for burbot in winter. Plan around after dark and midday in the warm months. Summer baits: a heavy jig + cut bait gets it done.
