In spring, european perch run shallow here, mostly 1 to 3.5 m. Summer keeps them at 1 to 3.5 m, and they winter in 1 to 3.5 m. Deep basin is the standout, a deep basin at roughly 3 m, rated prime for fall european perch. Time it for early morning. You won't need more than a drop-shot micro plastics or a small crankbait (perch pattern) most summer days.

In spring, northern pike run shallow here, mostly 0.5 to 2.5 m. Midsummer fish sit out in 1 to 3.5 m before dropping to 1 to 3.5 m for winter. Spring northern pike concentrate at Shallow bay flat, a prime-rated weed flat around 0.5 m. Fish it in early morning and the evening and you'll meet the bite. You won't need more than a bucktail or a weedless spoon over cabbage most summer days.
