8,619-acre Vallviksfjärden. North Sweden coastal fishing map with an exact official national water-body boundary, EMODnet 2024 CDI-audited mixed survey/composite DTM contours, source-assessed fishing spots, official regional fish evidence, seasonal forage guidance, public-access review and current-rule links. Official SMHI SVAR 2022 named coastal water in Bothnian Sea. This child is clipped to the exact source polygon and a trip-scale ownership window. Coverage classes and uncertainty limits are disclosed; this is a fishing-planning chart, not a navigation chart or catch forecast. The water tops out around 45 m. The depth chart comes from EMODnet, with national hydrographic source-reference audit bathymetric survey data, so the contours are survey-derived rather than computer-modeled. What the data behind the map says about each species, season by season:

Occurrence evidence does not promise a catch or establish that retention is legal. Current seasons, closures, protected species, gear rules and local restrictions always control. The roster may combine exact-water monitoring with habitat-filtered official regional evidence; it does not imply that every species is equally abundant throughout the mapped section.

Come spring, look for european perch tight to the bank in 1 to 3.5 m. Expect a summer slide to 2.5 to 8.5 m, then a winter hold in 3.5 to 10 m. Start at Weed flat. It's a weed flat holding about 2 m of water and rates prime come spring. Prime time lands in early morning. A drop-shot micro plastics or a small crankbait (perch pattern) is the honest summer answer here.
| Säsong | Djup | Bästa tid | Börja vid | Beten |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Vår | 1 to 3.5 m | midday & dawn | Weed flat (2 m) | Small jig + curly tail, Inline spinner #1-2 |
| Sommar | 2.5 to 8.5 m | dawn | Sharp break (2.5 m) | Drop-shot micro plastics, Small crankbait (perch pattern) |
| Höst | 3 to 10 m | midday | Sharp break (2.5 m) | Jigging spoon (small), Drop-shot on deep flats |
| Vinter | 3.5 to 10 m | midday & dawn | Offshore hump (6.5 m) | Tungsten jig + maggots, Small balance jig |
Early season northern pike use the shallows, holding in 0.5 to 2.5 m. Expect a summer slide to 2.5 to 6 m, then a winter hold in 1.5 to 4.5 m. Put Weed flat first on the milk run — a weed flat near 2 m that grades prime for spring. In summer the feeding windows fall in early morning and the evening. Tie on a bucktail or a weedless spoon over cabbage and you're in the game.
| Säsong | Djup | Bästa tid | Börja vid | Beten |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Vår | 0.5 to 2.5 m | midday & dawn | Weed flat (2 m) | #5 inline spinner, Spoon (red/white) |
| Sommar | 2.5 to 6 m | dawn & dusk | Weed flat (2.5 m) | Bucktail, Weedless spoon over cabbage |
| Höst | 2 to 5.5 m | midday & dawn | Sharp break (2.5 m) | Big rubber (Bull Dawg style), Husky-style jerkbait |
| Vinter | 1.5 to 4.5 m | midday | Weed flat (2 m) | Large jigging spoon |
Come spring, look for zander tight to the bank in 1 to 4.5 m. Expect a summer slide to 4.5 to 11 m, then a winter hold in 6 to 12 m. Start at Offshore hump. It's an offshore hump holding about 6.5 m of water and rates prime come summer. Prime time lands in the evening and early morning. A vertical softbait over humps or a deep crankbait is the honest summer answer here.
| Säsong | Djup | Bästa tid | Börja vid | Beten |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Vår | 1 to 4.5 m | dusk & dawn | Rock reef (4.5 m) | Softbait on jighead (10-12 cm), Shallow crankbait at dusk |
| Sommar | 4.5 to 11 m | dusk & dawn | Offshore hump (6.5 m) | Vertical softbait over humps, Deep crankbait |
| Höst | 3.5 to 12 m | dusk & night | Shoreline point (12 m) | Big softbait (12-16 cm) slow-rolled, Jigging spoon |
| Vinter | 6 to 12 m | dusk & dawn | Offshore hump (6.5 m) | Slow blade bait |
When the water first warms, sea trout slide up into 1 to 6 m. Summer is a 4.5 to 15 m game here, winter a 1.5 to 9 m one. Start at Rock reef. It's a rock pile holding about 4.5 m of water and rates prime come spring. The feeding windows run early morning and the evening. Keep a deep-running wobbler or a trolled spoon rigged through the warm months.
| Säsong | Djup | Bästa tid | Börja vid | Beten |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Vår | 1 to 6 m | dawn & dusk | Rock reef (4.5 m) | Slim coastal spoon, Shallow-running wobbler |

| Vinter | 1.5 to 9 m | midday | Rock reef (4.5 m) | Slow coastal spoon, Suspending wobbler |
When the water first warms, atlantic herring slide up into 1.5 to 7.5 m. By summer they slide out to 4.5 to 15 m, and by winter most fish are in 6 to 18 m. If you only fish one area, make it Rock reef: a rock pile around 4.5 m that scores good in spring. In summer the feeding windows fall in early morning and the evening. Keep a herring feather rig or a small silver jig rigged through the warm months.

| Vinter | 6 to 18 m | midday | open water | Small silver jig, Sparse feather rig |
Start shallow in spring: european whitefish sit in 3 to 12 m that time of year. Warm water sends them out to 8.5 to 24 m; cold water stacks them in 5.5 to 18 m. Top water on the chart: Sharp break, a drop-off in the 2.5 m range, good in spring. Fish it in early morning and the evening and you'll meet the bite. Throw a small vertical spoon or a micro jig until the fish tell you otherwise.
