Start shallow in spring: european perch sit in 1 to 3.5 m that time of year. Warm water sends them out to 2.5 to 8.5 m; cold water stacks them in 3.5 to 10 m. Top water on the chart: Shallow bay flat, a weed flat in the 1 m range, prime in spring. Fish it in early morning and you'll meet the bite. Throw a drop-shot micro plastics or a small crankbait (perch pattern) until the fish tell you otherwise.

In spring, burbot run shallow here, mostly 3 to 10 m. Summer keeps them at 3 to 10 m, and they winter in 2.5 to 10 m. Deep basin is the standout, a deep basin at roughly 9 m, rated prime for spring burbot. Time it for after dark and midday. You won't need more than a heavy jig + cut bait most summer days.
