In spring, saithe (coalfish) run shallow here, mostly 15 to 160 ft. Midsummer fish sit out in 25 to 260 ft before dropping to 45 to 320 ft for winter. Summer saithe (coalfish) concentrate at Shoreline point, a good-rated point around 245 ft. Fish it in early morning and the evening and you'll meet the bite. You won't need more than a speed jig or a heavy paddletail most summer days.
