120-acre lake in Sudbury District, Ontario. The lake tops out around 12 ft. This chart interpolates between a real shoreline and a known maximum depth. Mud Lake maps at 120 acres behind 2.5 miles of shoreline. With a 1.6 development index there's bank structure worth casting at, in moderation. Every acre of it sits shallower than ~15 ft: one big littoral zone, cover and forage throughout. Call it 0.9 mi long by 0.4 mi wide at the broadest reach. It sits in Sudbury District. In spring, walleye run shallow here, mostly 3 to 12 ft. Summer keeps them at 4 to 12 ft, and they winter in 4 to 12 ft. Fall walleye concentrate at Break off the point, a prime-rated drop-off around 5 ft. Fish it in the evening and early morning and you'll meet the bite. You won't need more than a crawler harness on bottom bouncer or a deep crankbait (trolled) most summer days.

When the water first warms, northern pike slide up into 2 to 8 ft. Summer is a 4 to 12 ft game here, winter a 4 to 12 ft one. Start at Shallow bay flat.
