213-acre lake in Cochrane District, Ontario. The lake tops out around 10 ft. The depth chart comes from Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry bathymetric survey data, so the contours are survey-derived rather than computer-modeled. The depth data here comes from the Ontario MNRF survey of 1980 (an MNRF lake survey). Every species below gets its seasonal read from the same numbers driving the chart.
The outline encloses 213 acres, worked by 4.2 miles of shoreline. A middling shoreline index (2) gives it some bays to work without being a maze. The whole water is littoral — nothing here runs deeper than ~15 ft, so it's all weed-and-bait territory. Figure 1.1 mi of water from one end to the other, 0.6 mi at the beam. Spring northern pike on Loune L. hold shallow, usually 2 to 8 ft. By summer they slide out to 3 to 10 ft, and by winter most fish are in 3 to 10 ft.
