1,436-acre lake near Perth and Kinross. The lake tops out around 128 ft. The depth chart comes from published agency bathymetric survey data, so the contours are survey-derived rather than computer-modeled. The depth data here comes from Murray & Pullar's Scottish loch survey of 1902, digitized from the bathymetric atlas published in 1910. The outline encloses 1,433 acres, worked by 16.4 miles of shoreline. The 3.1 development index tells the story — a convoluted bank whose fishable edge far outruns the acreage. Winter brown trout concentrate at Break off the point, a prime-rated drop-off around 11 ft. Fish it in after dark and early morning and you'll meet the bite. You won't need more than a spoon at the thermocline or a deep stickbait (night) most summer days.

Spring european perch on Loch Tummel hold shallow, usually 3 to 12 ft. They move out to 8 to 28 ft in summer and finish the year down in 12 to 33 ft. Put Back-bay flat first on the milk run — a weed flat near 7 ft that grades prime for spring. The feeding windows run early morning. The summer box starts with a drop-shot micro plastics or a small crankbait (perch pattern).

When the water first warms, northern pike slide up into 2 to 8 ft. Summer is an 8 to 20 ft game here, winter a 5 to 15 ft one. Start at Shallow bay flat. It's a weed flat holding about 2 ft of water and rates prime come spring. The feeding windows run early morning and the evening. Keep a bucktail or a weedless spoon over cabbage rigged through the warm months.

Start shallow in spring: arctic char sit in 4 to 15 ft that time of year. Summer pushes them deeper, 20 to 60 ft, and winter fish settle into 10 to 40 ft. The spot to know is Break off the point, a drop-off in about 11 ft of water that rates prime for arctic char in spring. Warm-month bites cluster around early morning. Throw a jigging spoon vertical or a tube jig (smelt) until the fish tell you otherwise.
