234-acre lake in Parry Sound District, Ontario. The lake tops out around 13 ft. These contours are modeled — built from the real shoreline and the water's maximum depth — so read them as a guide, never as navigation. Species by species, here's what the data says the year looks like.
Drawn out, this is 233 acres of water rimmed by 3.5 miles of bank. Index 1.7 on the shoreline: a few honest points and pockets, nothing labyrinthine. There is no deep basin to speak of — the entire surface is under ~15 ft, prime weed water end to end. Tip to tip the water measures near 0.9 mi with a 0.8-mi widest point. Spring walleye on Jacks Lake hold shallow, usually 3 to 13 ft. Depth-wise the year is flat: 4 to 13 ft in summer, 4 to 13 ft once it turns cold. Put Break off the point first on the milk run — a drop-off near 6 ft that grades prime for fall. The feeding windows run the evening and early morning. The summer box starts with a crawler harness on bottom bouncer or a deep crankbait (trolled).
