14,941-acre Airisto Finland coastal fishing map with an exact official national water-body boundary, EMODnet 2024 official Finnish hydrographic chart/DTM assessed contours, source-assessed fishing spots, official regional fish evidence, seasonal forage guidance, public-access review and current-rule links. Official Syke VHS 2022 named coastal water in Archipelago Sea. This child is clipped to the exact source polygon and a trip-scale ownership window. Coverage classes and uncertainty limits are disclosed; this is a fishing-planning chart, not a navigation chart or catch forecast. The water tops out around 73 m. The depth chart comes from EMODnet, with national hydrographic source-reference audit official hydrographic-chart depth models, so the contours are chart-derived rather than computer-modeled; no directly measured sounding coverage is claimed. Species by species, here's what the data says the year looks like.
Kartalla Airisto kattaa 6 044 hehtaaria, rantaviivaa 77.1 km, ja saaria on 60. Rantaviiva on voimakkaasti rikkonainen (indeksi 2.8) — lahtia ja niemiä kaikkialla, mikä moninkertaistaa kalastettavan reunan. Noin 7% pinnasta on matalampaa kuin ~5 m — siellä ruokaketju elää. Päästä päähän vesi mittaa noin 14.3 km, leveimmillään 6.8 km. Lähin kartoitettu vesi on Kirkkojärvi, 9.7 km luoteeseen.

Occurrence evidence does not promise a catch or establish that retention is legal. Current seasons, closures, protected species, gear rules and local restrictions always control. The roster may combine exact-water monitoring with habitat-filtered official regional evidence; it does not imply that every species is equally abundant throughout the mapped section.

The spring pattern is a shallow one: european perch in 1 to 3.5 m. As the season builds they drop to 2.5 to 8.5 m, wintering in 3.5 to 10 m. Top water on the chart: Weed flat, a weed flat in the 1 m range, prime in spring. Time it for early morning. Summer baits: a drop-shot micro plastics or a small crankbait (perch pattern) gets it done.
| Kausi | Syvyys | Paras aika | Aloita | Vieheet |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Kevät | 1 to 3.5 m | midday & dawn | Weed flat (1 m) | Small jig + curly tail, Inline spinner #1-2 |
| Kesä | 2.5 to 8.5 m | dawn | Weed flat (2 m) | Drop-shot micro plastics, Small crankbait (perch pattern) |
| Syksy | 3 to 10 m | midday | open water | Jigging spoon (small), Drop-shot on deep flats |
| Talvi | 3.5 to 10 m | midday & dawn | open water | Tungsten jig + maggots, Small balance jig |
The spring pattern is a shallow one: zander in 1 to 4.5 m. As the season builds they drop to 4.5 to 11 m, wintering in 6 to 12 m. Top water on the chart: Shoreline point, a point in the 10 m range, good in fall. Time it for the evening and early morning. Summer baits: a vertical softbait over humps or a deep crankbait gets it done.
| Kausi | Syvyys | Paras aika | Aloita | Vieheet |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Kevät | 1 to 4.5 m | dusk & dawn | Rock reef (0.5 m) | Softbait on jighead (10-12 cm), Shallow crankbait at dusk |
| Kesä | 4.5 to 11 m | dusk & dawn | Shoreline point (10 m) | Vertical softbait over humps, Deep crankbait |
| Syksy | 3.5 to 12 m | dusk & night | Shoreline point (10 m) | Big softbait (12-16 cm) slow-rolled, Jigging spoon |
| Talvi | 6 to 12 m | dusk & dawn | Shoreline point (10 m) | Slow blade bait |
Start shallow in spring: northern pike sit in 0.5 to 2.5 m that time of year. Warm water sends them out to 2.5 to 6 m; cold water stacks them in 1.5 to 4.5 m. Top water on the chart: Weed flat, a weed flat in the 1 m range, prime in spring. Fish it in early morning and the evening and you'll meet the bite. Throw a bucktail or a weedless spoon over cabbage until the fish tell you otherwise.
| Kausi | Syvyys | Paras aika | Aloita | Vieheet |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Kevät | 0.5 to 2.5 m | midday & dawn | Weed flat (1 m) | #5 inline spinner, Spoon (red/white) |
| Kesä | 2.5 to 6 m | dawn & dusk | Weed flat (2 m) | Bucktail, Weedless spoon over cabbage |
| Syksy | 2 to 5.5 m | midday & dawn | Weed flat (2 m) | Big rubber (Bull Dawg style), Husky-style jerkbait |
| Talvi | 1.5 to 4.5 m | midday | Weed flat (2 m) | Large jigging spoon |
Start shallow in spring: atlantic herring sit in 1.5 to 7.5 m that time of year. Summer pushes them deeper, 4.5 to 15 m, and winter fish settle into 6 to 18 m. The spot to know is Weed flat, a weed flat in about 2 m of water that rates good for atlantic herring in spring. Warm-month bites cluster around early morning and the evening. Throw a herring feather rig or a small silver jig until the fish tell you otherwise.
| Kausi | Syvyys | Paras aika | Aloita | Vieheet |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Kevät | 1.5 to 7.5 m | dawn & dusk | Weed flat (2 m) | Small herring feather rig, Micro jig rig |
| Kesä | 4.5 to 15 m | dawn & dusk | open water | Herring feather rig, Small silver jig |
| Syksy | 3 to 12 m | dawn & dusk | open water | Small feather rig, Compact silver spoon |
| Talvi | 6 to 18 m | midday | open water | Small silver jig, Sparse feather rig |
Early season european whitefish use the shallows, holding in 3 to 12 m. Expect a summer slide to 8.5 to 24 m, then a winter hold in 5.5 to 18 m. Put Sharp break first on the milk run — a drop-off near 22 m that grades good for summer. In summer the feeding windows fall in early morning and the evening. Tie on a small vertical spoon or a micro jig and you're in the game.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| Kevät | 1.5 to 7.5 m | dusk | open water | Small bucktail dragged on bottom |
| Kesä | 2 to 11 m | dawn & dusk | open water | Bottom jig with spinner blade |

Season dates, license requirements, and size and bag limits for Finland waters are set by the Kalastusrajoitus.fi (official current Finnish fishing-restriction service) — and special regulations can apply to Airisto specifically, so confirm the current rules before you fish. Check Kalastusrajoitus.fi, current protection periods and permit requirements before every Finnish coastal trip. Local no-fishing areas, river-mouth restrictions, protected species, minimum sizes, seasonal closures, gear rules, the fisheries-management fee and water-owner permissions may apply. Official coastal monitoring from Finland national fisheries and coastal monitoring agencies informs the european perch, zander, northern pike, atlantic herring, european whitefish, european flounder, sea trout, european smelt roster for Airisto. The mixed roster combines exact-water records where available with habitat-filtered regional evidence; not every species is documented at this exact water, and it is not a promise of equal abundance or a catch on a particular trip.
Weed flat is the top-rated area: a weed flat in about 4 ft of water that rates prime for european perch in spring. The interactive chart above rates every spot for each species and season.
For european perch, the summer bite is best in early morning. Each species page section below lists the seasonal windows, and the map shows a live NOW badge when you're inside one.
