Drawn out, this is 665 acres of water rimmed by 9.8 miles of bank. A development index of 2.7 means a maze of bays and points: far more casting targets than a round bowl of the same size. In spring, largemouth bass run shallow here, mostly 1 to 5 ft. Summer keeps them at 2 to 5 ft, and they winter in 2 to 5 ft.
