Kaardil katab Vagula järv 603 hektarit, kaldajoont 17.4 km, saari on 2. Kaldajoon on mõõdukalt liigestatud (indeks 2). Umbes 42% pinnast on madalam kui ~5 m — seal elab toiduahel. Otsast otsani mõõdab veekogu umbes 5 km, kõige laiemas kohas 2.1 km. Lähim kaardistatud veekogu on Tamula järv, 4.8 km itta.

The spring pattern is a shallow one: european perch in 1 to 3.5 m. Midsummer fish sit out in 2.5 to 8.5 m before dropping to 3.5 to 10 m for winter. The spot to know is Shallow bay flat, a weed flat in about 1.5 m of water that rates prime for european perch in spring. Plan around early morning in the warm months. Summer baits: a drop-shot micro plastics or a small crankbait (perch pattern) gets it done.
