The shoreline is moderately structured (index 1.7) — enough points and pockets to pattern. 81% of the surface is littoral (under ~15 ft) — cover, weeds and forage water. In spring, splake run shallow here, mostly 5 to 25 ft. Midsummer fish sit out in 16 to 52 ft before dropping to 10 to 45 ft for winter. Winter splake concentrate at Break off the point, a prime-rated drop-off around 10 ft. Fish it in early morning and the evening and you'll meet the bite. You won't need more than a trolled spoon at the thermocline or a white tube jig (deep) most summer days.

Come spring, look for yellow perch tight to the bank in 3 to 12 ft. They move out to 10 to 30 ft in summer and finish the year down in 15 to 35 ft. A drop-shot micro plastics or a small spoon tipped with worm is the honest summer answer here.
