In spring, brown trout run shallow here, mostly 1 to 7.5 m. Midsummer fish sit out in 7.5 to 18 m before dropping to 1.5 to 11 m for winter. Summer brown trout concentrate at Sharp break, a prime-rated drop-off around 12 m. Fish it in after dark and early morning and you'll meet the bite. You won't need more than a spoon at the thermocline or a deep stickbait (night) most summer days.
