The drawn water covers 30 acres wrapped in 2.7 miles of bank. That shoreline is heavily fingered (development index 3.5) — bays, points and pockets everywhere, which multiplies the fishable edge. All of it is shallow-zone water — under ~15 ft across the entire basin, so the food chain has the run of the place. Figure 0.7 mi of water from one end to the other, 0.4 mi at the beam. In spring, chain pickerel run shallow here, mostly 1 to 5 ft. Summer keeps them at 1 to 5 ft, and they winter in 1 to 5 ft.
