561-acre lake in Nipissing District, Ontario. The lake tops out around 80 ft. The chart is a model: real shoreline, published maximum depth, interpolated in between. A planning tool, never a navigation product. Every species below gets its seasonal read from the same numbers driving the chart.
Traced from the shoreline, Papineau Lake runs 565 acres with 10.2 miles of edge, with a single island in the mix. With a shoreline index of 3.1, this water is all arms and coves — edge habitat well beyond its acreage. 25% of the surface is littoral (under ~15 ft), per the model — cover, weeds and forage water.
