Early season brown trout use the shallows, holding in 1 to 7.5 m. Expect a summer slide to 7.5 to 18 m, then a winter hold in 1.5 to 11 m. Put Unelanoja inflow first on the milk run — an inflow / creek mouth near 2.5 m that grades prime for spring. In summer the feeding windows fall in after dark and early morning. When the water first warms, lake whitefish slide up into 4.5 to 14 m. Summer is a 12 to 27 m game here, winter a 7.5 to 21 m one. Start at Rock reef. It's a rock pile holding about 3.5 m of water and rates prime come fall. The feeding windows run early morning. Keep a blade bait vertical or a small jigging spoon rigged through the warm months.
