In spring, european perch run shallow here, mostly 1 to 3.5 m. Summer pushes them deeper, 2.5 to 8.5 m, and winter fish settle into 3.5 to 10 m. In spring, northern pike run shallow here, mostly 0.5 to 2.5 m. Midsummer fish sit out in 2.5 to 6 m before dropping to 1.5 to 4.5 m for winter. Come spring, look for lake whitefish tight to the bank in 4.5 to 14 m. They move out to 7.5 to 25 m in summer and finish the year down in 7.5 to 21 m. If you only fish one area, make it Deep basin: a deep basin around 21 m that scores prime in summer. Best bite is early morning. A blade bait vertical or a small jigging spoon is the honest summer answer here.
