334-acre lake in Nipissing District, Ontario. The lake tops out around 48 ft. The contours are modeled from the water's real shoreline and maximum depth. Treat them as a rough guide, and never use them for navigation. Here is how the season plays out for each species, straight from the data behind the map.
Maxam Lake maps at 335 acres behind 10.4 miles of shoreline — one island included. A development index of 4 means a maze of bays and points: far more casting targets than a round bowl of the same size. 50% of the surface is littoral (under ~15 ft), per the model — cover, weeds and forage water. Figure 2.7 mi of water from one end to the other, 1.4 mi at the beam. Nipissing District claims this one. Its nearest charted neighbour, Burwash Lake, is 1 mi to the west.
Start shallow in spring: lake whitefish sit in 15 to 45 ft that time of year. Warm water sends them out to 14 to 48 ft; cold water stacks them in 14 to 48 ft. In spring, walleye run shallow here, mostly 4 to 15 ft. Summer pushes them deeper, 15 to 35 ft, and winter fish settle into 20 to 40 ft. Break off the point is the standout, a drop-off at roughly 22 ft, rated prime for fall walleye. Time it for the evening and early morning. You won't need more than a crawler harness on bottom bouncer or a deep crankbait (trolled) most summer days.

When the water first warms, northern pike slide up into 2 to 8 ft. By summer they slide out to 8 to 20 ft, and by winter most fish are in 5 to 15 ft. If you only fish one area, make it Shallow bay flat: a weed flat around 6 ft that scores prime in spring. In summer the feeding windows fall in early morning and the evening. Keep a bucktail or a weedless spoon over cabbage rigged through the warm months.

Keep a drop shot (goby/minnow) or a ned rig rigged through the warm months.
