Kartalla Määrjärvi kattaa 775 hehtaaria, rantaviivaa 41.2 km. Rantaviiva on voimakkaasti rikkonainen (indeksi 4.2) — lahtia ja niemiä kaikkialla, mikä moninkertaistaa kalastettavan reunan. Noin 32% pinnasta on matalampaa kuin ~5 m — siellä ruokaketju elää. Päästä päähän vesi mittaa noin 7.2 km, leveimmillään 4.2 km. Vesi sijaitsee alueella Salon seutukunta. Lähin kartoitettu vesi on Seljänalanen, 4.8 km kaakkoon.
