37-acre lake near Québec. The lake tops out around 40 ft. The depth chart is built from real state fisheries GPS surveys, so the humps, channels and drop-offs you see are measured, not guessed. What the data behind the map says about each species, season by season:
Traced from the shoreline, Lac Judas runs 37 acres with 1.1 miles of edge. At index 1.3 the outline is almost a bowl — read the depth changes, not the shoreline. About 36% of the surface sits shallower than 15 ft — that's the weed-and-bait zone. Tip to tip the water measures near 0.5 mi with a 0.2-mi widest point. The water lies in La Côte-de-Beaupré MRC. In spring, brook trout run shallow here, mostly 2 to 15 ft. Midsummer fish sit out in 10 to 30 ft before dropping to 3 to 20 ft for winter. Spring brook trout concentrate at Shallow bay flat, a good-rated weed flat around 7 ft. Fish it in early morning and the evening and you'll meet the bite. You won't need more than a small spoon fished deep or a trolled lake-clear wobbler + worm most summer days.
