The drawn water covers 188 acres wrapped in 2.5 miles of bank. Its 1.3 shoreline index means few bank features; the contours below do the pattern work. Every acre of it sits shallower than ~15 ft: one big littoral zone, cover and forage throughout. Figure 1.1 mi of water from one end to the other, 0.4 mi at the beam. Come spring, look for brook trout tight to the bank in 2 to 15 ft. Expect a summer slide to 5 to 18 ft, then a winter hold in 3 to 18 ft. Start at Deep basin. It's a deep basin holding about 17 ft of water and rates prime come summer. Prime time lands in early morning and the evening. A small spoon fished deep or a trolled lake-clear wobbler + worm is the honest summer answer here.

The spring pattern is a shallow one: walleye in 4 to 15 ft. Midsummer fish sit out in 5 to 18 ft before dropping to 5 to 18 ft for winter. The spot to know is Break off the point, a drop-off in about 8 ft of water that rates prime for walleye in fall. Plan around the evening and early morning in the warm months. Summer baits: a crawler harness on bottom bouncer or a deep crankbait (trolled) gets it done.

In spring, yellow perch run shallow here, mostly 3 to 12 ft. Midsummer fish sit out in 5 to 18 ft before dropping to 5 to 18 ft for winter. Spring yellow perch concentrate at Shallow bay flat, a prime-rated weed flat around 5 ft. Fish it in early morning and you'll meet the bite. You won't need more than a drop-shot micro plastics or a small spoon tipped with worm most summer days.
