Early season northern pike use the shallows, holding in 0.5 to 2.5 m. Expect a summer slide to 2.5 to 6 m, then a winter hold in 1.5 to 4.5 m. In spring, lake whitefish run shallow here, mostly 4.5 to 14 m. Midsummer fish sit out in 12 to 27 m before dropping to 7.5 to 21 m for winter.
