616-acre lake in Finland. The lake tops out around 20 m. The depth chart comes from Finnish Environment Institute (Syke) bathymetric survey data, so the contours are survey-derived rather than computer-modeled. Species by species, here's what the data says the year looks like.
Vesi piirtyy 251 hehtaarin laajuisena, rantaa 15.1 km. Rantaviiva on voimakkaasti rikkonainen (indeksi 2.7) — lahtia ja niemiä kaikkialla, mikä moninkertaistaa kalastettavan reunan. Noin 65% pinnasta on matalampaa kuin ~5 m — siellä ruokaketju elää. Päästä päähän vesi mittaa noin 4.7 km, leveimmillään 1.6 km. Vesi sijaitsee alueella Tampereen seutukunta. Lähin kartoitettu vesi on Rautajärvi, 20.9 km itään.

Come spring, look for european perch tight to the bank in 1 to 3.5 m. Expect a summer slide to 2.5 to 8.5 m, then a winter hold in 3.5 to 10 m. Start at Shallow bay flat. It's a weed flat holding about 1 m of water and rates prime come spring. Prime time lands in early morning. A drop-shot micro plastics or a small crankbait (perch pattern) is the honest summer answer here.
| Kausi | Syvyys | Paras aika | Aloita | Vieheet |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Kevät | 1 to 3.5 m | midday & dawn | Shallow bay flat (1 m) | Small jig + curly tail, Inline spinner #1-2 |
| Kesä | 2.5 to 8.5 m | dawn | Break off the point (3 m) | Drop-shot micro plastics, Small crankbait (perch pattern) |
| Syksy | 3 to 10 m | midday | Break off the point (3 m) | Jigging spoon (small), Drop-shot on deep flats |
| Talvi | 3.5 to 10 m | midday & dawn | Shallow feeding flat (5 m) | Tungsten jig + maggots, Small balance jig |

Summer lake whitefish concentrate at Deep basin, a prime-rated deep basin around 20 m. Fish it in early morning and you'll meet the bite. You won't need more than a blade bait vertical or a small jigging spoon most summer days.
