Drawn out, this is 201 acres of water rimmed by 6.2 miles of bank, broken up by 2 islands. That shoreline is heavily fingered (development index 3.1) — bays, points and pockets everywhere, which multiplies the fishable edge. All of it is shallow-zone water — under ~15 ft across the entire basin, so the food chain has the run of the place. Tip to tip the water measures near 1 mi with a 0.6-mi widest point. You'll find it in Division No. 5. The nearest mapped water is Carpenter Lake, 7 mi to the south.
In spring, northern pike run shallow here, mostly 2 to 8 ft. Midsummer fish sit out in 4 to 13 ft before dropping to 4 to 13 ft for winter. Spring northern pike concentrate at Shallow bay flat, a prime-rated weed flat around 2 ft. Fish it in early morning and the evening and you'll meet the bite. You won't need more than a bucktail or a weedless spoon over cabbage most summer days.
