The drawn water covers 216 acres wrapped in 2.8 miles of bank. Its 1.4 shoreline index means few bank features; the contours below do the pattern work. All of it is shallow-zone water — under ~15 ft across the entire basin, so the food chain has the run of the place. The basin spans about 1 mi end to end and 0.7 mi across at its widest. If the bite dies, Otter Lake is 8 mi to the east.
