The drawn water covers 504 acres wrapped in 6.4 miles of bank. A middling shoreline index (2) gives it some bays to work without being a maze. There is no deep basin to speak of — the entire surface is under ~15 ft, prime weed water end to end. Figure 2.3 mi of water from one end to the other, 0.7 mi at the beam. It sits in Nicollet County. Its nearest charted neighbour, Clear, is 14 mi to the south.
The spring pattern is a shallow one: walleye in 2 to 8 ft. The depth story barely changes: 2 to 8 ft through summer, 2 to 8 ft in winter. In spring, yellow perch run shallow here, mostly 2 to 8 ft. Summer keeps them at 2 to 8 ft, and they winter in 2 to 8 ft. Fall yellow perch concentrate at Deep basin, a prime-rated deep basin around 8 ft. Fish it in early morning and you'll meet the bite. You won't need more than a drop-shot micro plastics or a small spoon tipped with worm most summer days.
