When the water first warms, northern pike slide up into 0.5 to 2.5 m. Summer is a 2.5 to 6 m game here, winter a 1.5 to 4.5 m one. Start at Shallow bay flat. In spring, brown trout run shallow here, mostly 1 to 7.5 m. Midsummer fish sit out in 7.5 to 18 m before dropping to 1.5 to 11 m for winter. Summer brown trout concentrate at Sharp break, a prime-rated drop-off around 11 m. Fish it in after dark and early morning and you'll meet the bite. Start shallow in spring: lake whitefish sit in 4.5 to 14 m that time of year. Summer pushes them deeper, 12 to 27 m, and winter fish settle into 7.5 to 21 m. Throw a blade bait vertical or a small jigging spoon until the fish tell you otherwise.

When the water first warms, burbot slide up into 7.5 to 21 m. By summer they slide out to 15 to 37 m, and by winter most fish are in 4.5 to 18 m. Keep a heavy jig + cut bait rigged through the warm months.
